About the Author
Sharon was born on December 24th , 1995 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sharon's parents were married for 59 years and had 6 children and the area that they lived had there fair share of crime and poverty. Sharon's family was a tight knit family which was what helped them survive. She was shy growing up, which was one of the reasons she turned to writing as she felt more comfortable writing then making friends.
Sharon attended the University of P. Hsburg with a major in medicine wanting to become a pediatrician, Sharon realized after taking a couple classes that she wasn't cut out for it so she changed her major. She decided to do a BA in English, she got offered an internship with a local newspaper company but she never showed up although they contacted her three times. Sharon went to work with a social services agency instead of doing what her heart desired.
Finally after years she joined a Pittsburgh writing group in a book store. Sharon's first book was "The skin im in". This book talked about a dark skinned student who endured racism and bullying on the daily basis. Her stories involve young adults realistic problems.
